What Are You Reading Wednesday: This Savage Song by V.E. Schwab

What Are You Reading Wednesday is a meme hosted by It’s A Reading Thing, where we can talk about what we are reading for that week.

Grab the book you are currently reading and answer three questions:

1. What’s the name of your current read?
This Savage Song by V.E. Schwab

2. Go to page 34 in your book or 34% in your eBook and share a couple of sentences.

“States became self-governing,” added a boy.
“And then condensed into the Ten Territories.”
“Power concentrated in the capitals.”
“And so did the people.”

Every time someone called out an answer, the teacher returned to the board, and every time he did, Kate leaned over and added another mark—a jagged line, a swoop, a pair of dots. It took him half the class to figure out what she was doing, and then, between one scribble and the next, it came together.

The body. The mouth. The claws.

Kate had turned Verity into a monster.

3. Would you like to live in the world that exists within your book? Why or why not?
I’m still trying to get a grasp of the story and the setting, and so far from what I’m reading, I’m gonna have to pass. I won’t survive this world and it seems so scary omg.

So what are you reading today? Have you finished this book? What did you think of it? Let me know down below!
